Hi. I am Lindsay Barrasse. After graduating college, I traveled back and forth from Scranton, PA to San Francisco, CA freelancing for CURRENT TV and working as a partner for YouTube. I then moved to Los Angeles, CA in 2009 and worked on multiple projects there. Eventually, I found my way back to the Scranton area where my husband, David Corigliano, and I started Voyager Video, a video production and equipment rental company producing such things as commercial advertisements (regionally and nationally). In late of 2019 we moved ourselves and our business to Asheville, North Carolina. We remain to have a client base of the tri-state area of New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania while branching out into the Appalachian area. I also work as freelance multimedia producer for various production companies as well as a freelance photographer, graphic designer, and web developer.
Behind the camera, my passion is focused on both cinematography and directing. I have received awards in video production, created dozens of international, national, and regional commercials, and have worked on as well as produced both short and feature films. Currently my film The Road Less Traveled is making its rounds in the festival circuit with acceptance into over 30 film festivals receiving awards for Best In Show, Best Suspense, Best Horror, Best In The Festival, and Best Director.
I am a member of The Friends of The American Society of Cinematography (ASC), the United Nations Association of the USA (UNA-USA), the U.S. National Committee for UN Women, as well as a supporter of New York Women In Film and Television (NYWIFT). Prior to my recent move to Asheville I sat on several boards; former positions included - the Vice President of American Advertising Federation of Scranton (AAF), social media and marketing director for the National Alliance On Mental Illness PA Scranton Area Chapter (NAMI), educational and training committee chair of the Junior League of Scranton (JLS), as well as sat on the boards and/or actively volunteered for Cinderella's Closet of NEPA, Artists for Art Gallery, the Scranton Fringe Festival, and Dress for Success Lackawanna.
I have taught cinematography with The Pennsylvania Film School, giving a seminar and donating time to EOTC and the ArtsEngage! program were I taught film and media production to students at Scranton South Intermediate. I have also done film workshops at various venues including a three hour workshop on at the Belin Film Festival in which I donate all proceeds to the educational and recreational programming at the Waverly Community House. I pride myself in my humanitarian and volunteer work. I wish I could do more! In the past, I have worked with and will continue working with Habitat For Humanity, The Goodwill of NEPA, and Saint Francis Soup Kitchen. I also enjoy helping and volunteering my time in the Arts and Performing Arts community in the Scranton area. I am actively volunteer and support Arts On the Square, The Holiday Market, the Bonfire At The Iron Furnaces, and the Scranton Fringe Festival.

In 2018/2019, I had the honor to work as the Director and Art Gallery Coordinator for The Artists for Art Gallery in Scranton, PA where I wrote and obtained several grants for the organization.

In 2019, I published my first photography book "Graffiti d'Ialia" a photo-journalistic style account of the street art throughout Italy.

Additional, I am a certified Yoga Instructor with over 700 hours of training and continuing credit hours in various forms from such as Vinyasa, Kundalini, Children's Yoga, and Yoga for Mental Health. I am certified in Family to Family Mental Health training and Mental Health First Aide as well.

. . . And to tie everything all up I am the youngest recipient of the Woman of Excellence SAGE Award from The Greater Scranton Chamber Of Commerce and awarded Top 20 Under 40 in 2018 from the Business Journal.
